ELS data manupilation

Here we show example of manipulating electron data from ELS sensors.

General description of ELS

Nominally, the ELS sensors provides (for both VEX and MEX) count rate data with 128 energy steps with 4-s time resolution. ELS are cylindrical sensors, so that a discrimination in one angle is possible. Each “sector” has 22.5 degree aperture, providing 16 different channels. In summary, ELS provides a (Energy=128, Sector=16) matrix at a certain time (for 4s).
